Apply for the 2017 Milwaukee Bucks Sales Academy on Saturday, January 28th 2017 to see if the Bucks will be the perfect place for you to start your sales career in the sports industry. Work and learn the Milwaukee way with a select group of your peers, get hands on training from our leadership and sales teams, try out your newly learned skills on the phones and cap it off with a chance to cheer on the Bucks as they take on the Boston Celtics that evening! The event will be held in the Milwaukee Bucks preview center, which will provide you with a behind the scenes look at the space and learn how it is being used to sell our new arena opening in fall of 2018.

In addition to learning what it means to be Sales Associate, we will be interviewing and recruiting for a limited number of positions for our May 2017 Sales Associate Program

Dress is business professional. Breakfast, lunch and a game ticket will be provided for those in attendance. There is no cost for the event.

Timberwolves Ticket Sales Workshop (October 29th) - Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx (Minneapolis, MN)

Don’t miss your chance to break into the world of professional sports! Join the Minnesota Timberwolves for a Tickets Sales Workshop training and hiring event at Mayo Clinic Square in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 29th, 2016. This innovative sales training program combines real life sales experience with career development opportunities, making it a truly unique opportunity to showcase your skills directly to the Timberwolves Sales Leadership department.

Attendance is a MUST for anyone interested in a career in sports sales!

The workshop on Saturday October, 29th will take place at Mayo Clinic Square: 600 Hennepin Avenue – Suite 300, MN 55403 from 8:30AM-4:30PM.  Check-in will begin at 8am.

Workshop attendees are engaged in an authentic sales training environment working with professional sales leaders from the Minnesota Timberwolves attendance coaching you, scouting for their team and conducting on site interviews for immediate hires!

There is a free to attend the event. All registrations include the following:

  • One (1) full day of hands-on sales training, prospecting and sales call experience
  • GUARANTEED job interview with the Minnesota Timberwolves
  • Behind the scenes tour of the Minnesota Timberwolves Practice Facility

Sacramento Kings and Reno Bighorns Sales Training Day- November 18, 2016 (Invitation Only) - Sacramento Kings (Sacramento, CA)

Whether you’re looking to advance or start your career in sports, this is your opportunity to train and learn from a ticket sales staff recognized for industry best practices and league-leading results. The Sacramento Kings and Reno Bighorns Sales Training Day offers you a chance to learn high-level ticket sales techniques, as well as showcase your abilities in an innovative training and interview experience. 

Kings ticket sales managers and executives will oversee this comprehensive sales training, geared towards teaching and practicing the same fundamentals that have made the Kings one of the top selling ticket sales staffs in the NBA.  

The event will take place on Friday, November 18th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm with the Kings game against Los Angeles Clippers to follow. (complimentary ticket to the game)

The Sales Training Day is by invite only. An application does not guarantee a spot in the training. Space is limited - so apply quickly!

What to expect:
- Premier training from Kings Ticket Sales leadership
- Selected participants could earn an opportunity to interview with the Sacramento Kings and Reno Bighorns

4-year college degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field preferred

Previous sports and/or telemarketing or outside sales experience is preferred

Strong listening skills

Possess ability to demonstrate exceptional guest service skills over the phone and in-person

Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to present sales material to large groups and customers

Ability to multi-task and maintain strong prioritization and organizational skills

Strong computer skills, including all Microsoft Office software programs

Ability to work nights/weekends/flexible schedule required
