POSITION OVERVIEW
The Charlotte Hornets seek an energetic individual to support members of the Executive Offices staff with daily team operations and logistics. We are looking for an individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities, with willingness to work flexible hours. . Academic credit must be obtained and the ability to work 30-40 hour per week to accept this position.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The marketing department is responsible for all brand building efforts. This entails developing key fan insights and translating insights into breakthrough fan engagement efforts. These efforts may be through traditional media, new media, events, partnerships, etc. The marketing intern will gain valuable training from the members of the marketing team on how to most effectively build a brand and how to effectively research a specific business challenge, develop winning strategies to address the business challenge, and qualify the proposed solutions with Hornets Fans. Unpaid internship working 30-40 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in the interdepartmental implementation of marketing strategies, promotions and campaigns
• Coordinate delivery of advertising collateral to media partners
• Understand and utilize web-based analytics tools for regular production and analysis of performance marketing program reports

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Charlotte Hornets are looking for a Graphic Design intern. This is a print design environment. The internship will allow the Intern to gain knowledge of printing and graphics. This internship offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of experienced staff members in a fast-paced, challenging environment. We are looking for hard-working, organized, dedicated individuals with a team player attitude and the desire to proactively take on responsibility throughout the fall, spring and summer semesters of the Charlotte Hornets season. These internships are unpaid; however college credit must be earned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work on programs, flyers, autograph cards, ads, etc., as well as assist designers with larger projects and have the opportunity to participate in group projects.
• Assist with social media and website design.
• Assist in production areas as needed to learn more about proper file setup and printing.
• Help in print/bindery department if necessary.
• Work with all departments, including Ticket Sales, Corporate Sales, Marketing, Public Relations and Community Relations.

Job Description: 
This is an opportunity to work in the fast-paced world of WNBA game presentation with the Los Angeles Sparks. Interns will work directly with the Director of Game Operations, while also providing support with the creative aspects of in game entertainment, as well as marketing, game day communication, and sponsorship fulfillment. This department is responsible for the planning and execution of each game night’s format. The intern group serves as the staff that makes everything outside of the actual “game” possible. There are optional, extended opportunities for in office work that will involve managing new projects, research, creating new campaigns, and managing various game elements.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
- Attend ALL Sparks home games to help with the implementation of programs throughout the game
- Assist in coordinating game-day set-up including banners, on-court props, halftime details, booths, giveaways, etc
- Assist in coordinating on-court promotions, national anthem, on-court contests, halftime events, and other in-arena game night activities 
- Assist sponsorship department on game-day projects including all on-court and halftimes promotions, etc.
- Other duties as assigned

Overview:

Summary
The Business Analyst Intern will assist in different aspects of the corporate partnership sales evaluation process for the Sacramento Kings and Sleep Train Arena, focusing on research and analysis of partner’s positioning, objectives, and results delivery. This individual should possess analytical skills, including knowledge of research methods, experience with data collection and analysis, and a willingness to learn the intricacies of brand management and positioning. The Business Analyst Internal will work closely with other members of the Corporate Partnership & Suite’s team to research key global prospects, research trends and corporate sponsorships from other professional sports leagues, provide background information for potential clients, and evaluate efficiency of all partnership programs.

Qualifications
• Must be enrolled in a Graduate School Program, preferably in Sports Management or Sports Marketing, or related field.
• Work experience performing research/analysis, preferably with a focus on corporate sponsorships, business development, and advertising/marketing within the sports or entertainment industries is preferred.
• Experience using MS Office software and graphic design software (i.e., Photoshop), is a plus.
• Knowledge of current market research methods and ability to condense findings in assessment reports.

Tulsa Pro Hoops, host organization of the WNBA's Tulsa Shock, is currently recruiting Partnership Department interns, known as Partnership Interns, for the upcoming 2015 Summer semester. This internship offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of experienced staff members in a fast-paced, challenging environment. We are looking for hard-working, organized, dedicated individuals with a team player attitude and the desire to proactively take on responsibility throughout the Summer semester.

Internship Information

The internship takes place in the Tulsa Shock office located in downtown Tulsa. Partnership Interns support various staff members in areas related to partnerships, marketing and events and entertainment fulfillment. These interns support the Partnership Coordinators with executing the Time Out for Fitness school assembly program, conducting prospect research, keeping and updating prospecting lists, tracking partnership social media posts, working on in-arena activations and set up, department inventory tracking, requesting partnership-related website updates, basic photography, special event planning, etc.

Summer semester Partnership Interns are responsible for:

Customer Service – Interns interact with current partners, prospective customers, and sales staff by phone, e-mail and in person. Excellent communication skills are required. Interns are required to fulfill partnership activations and promotions during the season. At no time during the internship are interns expected to solicit sponsorship sales.

Intern Projects – Interns work on various projects 20 – 40 hours per week. Projects include corporate research, creating and maintaining corporate partner photo libraries, activation fulfillment set-up, set-up of partnership functions and needs at BOK Center, supervision of the volunteer corps for giveaways and other activities during home game nights at BOK Center, etc. Also, interns will be taught how to create and assist with corporate sponsorship PowerPoint proposals and recaps.

This is a part-time (20-40 hours per week) unpaid internship for college credit. Summer internships begin May 2015 and end August or September 2015. Interns are required to live in the Tulsa area for the duration of the internship or able to commute to the Tulsa office in a timely manner. Current college students in their freshman to senior years and recent college graduates may apply. Current college students chosen for the internship program must use the internship to receive college credit hours.

Characteristics of Ideal Candidates

Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects, able to prioritize their time and be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
