Volunteer: Come Together Foundation Street Team Member - Detroit Pistons / Palace Sports & Entertainment (Auburn Hills, MI)
The Come Together Foundation is seeking self-starting, outgoing individuals who are interested in community development/relations and business/sales to join the Street Team. The Come Together Street Team is a grassroots promotion team that will help brand and grow the Come Together Foundation. Must be proactive, punctual, reliable, outgoing and available for service at events/concerts at the DTE Energy Music Theatre. Street Team members will primarily represent the Foundation by communicating its message and fundraising on its behalf at concerts/shows. As a Street Team member, you will also have the opportunity to participate in special community events, panel discussions, job shadow, and attend networking events. This is a great introduction to the sports and entertainment industry, specifically customer relations and community relations/foundation experience as well as business administration and sales. Hours: Approximately two DTE concerts/events per week on average (May – Sept). Approximately 4-5 hours per concert/event, including nights & weekends as necessary. All Street Team members must be available 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Compensation: This is a volunteer position, but Street Team members will receive admission to concerts/events and be eligible for cash prize incentives, as well as Detroit Pistons ticket packages for the 2013-2014 season and other bonus prizes, opportunities and incentives.
