Job Description

Brand Identity & Marketing

  • Direct the design and on-time creation of all brand materials for the Atlanta Hawks including: in-arena signage, CRM, print marketing, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Partner with VP, Creative Director to develop a consistent and on-brand identity for key seasonal collateral: game programs, billboards, advertising, playoffs, Theme Nights, Draft Party, etc.
  • Create and lead the design implementation of projects incorporating innovative visual design, copy, and brand assets, while being mindful of audience and consumer needs and likes.
  • Constantly be aware of current trends in retail, media, music, style, and pop culture to create innovative brand campaigns.
  • Maintain and establish creative brand standards and style guides.
  • Translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, easy to understand, and emotionally engaging.
  • Present work and communicate effectively to business partners and senior management.

Photoshoots & Media Day

  • Direct seasonal photography for all print collateral and e-commerce content, while insuring images are aligned to business and brand needs.
  • Work closely with house photographers and local retouchers to provide visual direction and consistently produce high quality images.
  • Provide direction for the graphic treatment and overall tone of images: including image cropping, clipping, use of filters, and color correction.


  • Work with VP, Creative Director, Marketing Director, & Retail teams to refresh and redesign and websites on a seasonal basis.
  • Conceptualize and help design interfaces for e-commerce, apps, multimedia products and devices.
  • Collaborate with e-commerce, public relations, ticketing, corporate partnerships, community, and retail to deliver a multichannel identity and brand solution.

Vendor Relationships

  • Source, identify, manage, and negotiate with external vendors to get the best price for each print job without compromising quality.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with existing vendor base


  • Plan & review yearly creative budget with VP, Creative Director.
  • Manage the creative marketing budget to the bottom line and be able to articulate any variances in budget as needed.
  • Make any requested operational savings & negotiate savings with key suppliers.

Team Management

  • Manage a stable of creative talent including: in-house designers, freelance graphic designers, photographers and other artists.
  • Assign projects to internal design team daily and delegate responsibilities accordingly.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for team by training, mentoring, assigning duties & providing recognition.
  • Manage upwards to VP, Creative Director development issues or needs within the team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Graphic or Web Design, Marketing, or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • 8+ years of Professional Graphic Design / Web Design experience. Web or Retail Experience a plus.
  • Ability to take creative direction, attention to detail, organized, and communicate well.
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinker with the ability to motivate designers towards innovative visual solutions.
  • Experience with print media, digital, and production required.
  • Prior experience managing or organizing a team preferred

  • Develop and provide solution based platforms and strategies to increase partner’s competitive edge
  • Understand how to highlight corporate brand strategies & objectives with the goal of growing business
  • Become an integral part of the sales cycle of growing overall team revenue by collaborating on creative ideation to generate unique and compelling concepts for our partners as they activate in the Atlanta community

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a relevant field highly preferred
  • Three years client service/activation preferred
  • Must have previous experience in account management and client relationships
  • Excellent organizational and communication (verbal & written) skills a must; must be able to professionally interact with all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must possess superior project management skills

  • Safe and efficient operation of all new and existing equipment and systems.
  • Participate in maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems and contribute proactive efforts ensuring proper operation, performance, and reliability.
  • With minimum assistance, determines reasons for component, system, or structure malfunctions through troubleshooting and determines corrective actions to ensure proper and timely repairs.

Part-Time Retail Warehouse Associate - Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club (Atlanta, GA)

This position will work during Atlanta Hawks events as well as days/times when no events are scheduled in the arena. The position is primarily responsible for assisting the Warehouse manager with the activities involved in preparing for an event. The position will require anywhere from 15-30 hours a week depending on the event schedule. Hours are not guaranteed, and are on an as needed basis.

  • Develop framework for systems and process controls for accounting team
  • Build and manage FPA&S staff to implement framework across accounting team

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
  • Eight to ten years of progressively responsible accounting experience required
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience required
  • Experience with leading projects and building efficiencies required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft CRM preferred
  • Strong knowledge of a GL/AR system, Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred
