Analyst, Database - Atlanta Hawks & Philips Arena (Atlanta, GA)

Scope of Work:
The primary duties of the Database Analyst are to be the primary administrator of the organization wide CRM system, providing desktop support to all users, creating and executing all direct marketing campaigns in the system and taken the lead responsibility for database reporting and ROI measurement. They are the primary liaison with the sales teams regarding all sales force automation requests, campaigns and maintenance.

This person will also be the lead for all database related projects for the company, including managing our direct marketing segmentation strategy, lead generation, lead management and sales and marketing measurements. They will also contribute to the overall strategy and execution of market research for the organization.

Position Description:
• Manage Microsoft CRM (Dynamics 2011) system including reporting, lead generation, lead management, internal process creation and improvement, and product enhancement.
• Manage marketing strategy within database for all marketing list segmentation needs, including list building, analysis and lead scoring.
• Act as first point of contact for system errors or other internal client issues.
• Train and provide support to all CRM users across the organization
• Develop and contribute to all statistical analysis projects and reports across enterprise
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
• Four-year college degree with concentration in law, business, statistics, marketing or related field required
• Post graduate degree preferred
• 2+ years of related experience preferred
• Must be available during traditional and non-traditional working hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be detail oriented and organized with excellent project management skills
• Proficiency in data analysis programs such as SPSS, Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel preferred
• Must have knowledge and enthusiasm for professional sports and entertainment
• Ability to work on individual assignments as well as contribute to an overall team environment
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Ever dreamed of being on the Hawks roster? Here’s your chance. Atlanta Spirit LLC has immediate openings for part-time Shift Security Officers at Philips Arena. Atlanta Spirit is the home of the Atlanta Hawks (NBA) and world-class entertainment venue, Philips Arena.

Shift Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for Philips Arena employees and guests with responsibilities that include:

• Must be knowledgeable of security and company policy and procedures
• Lock/unlock areas as requested
• Monitor CCTV activity and access control system
• Monitor fire alarm system
• Patrol interior/exterior areas of the arena
• Respond to incidents
• Control shipping and receiving
• Check bags/packages
• Register visitors
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• High school diploma / GED
• Two years security and/or military experience
• Clear criminal background check
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Valid GA Drivers License
• Must be physically able to demonstrate proficiency with all security equipment including that associated with the use of force, as well as obtain and maintain Red Cross First Aid Certification, and pass written tests related to security policy and procedure on an annual basis.

Shifts Available:
1st Shift      6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
2nd Shift     2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
3rd Shift     10:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Staff Accountant - Atlanta Hawks (Atlanta, GA)

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Review general ledger, prepare journal entries, and assist preparation of financial statements and related variance analyses (e.g. actual vs. Budget)
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Maintain financial files relating to sponsorship contracts, including reporting from Customer Relations Management (CRM) database and design & development of worksheets relating to revenue deferrals and recognition
• Maintain inventory of trade assets and ensure controls; develop trade accounting procedures and routine financial reporting of trade balances and usage
• Review and ensure proper coding and approvals for invoices using a web-based invoice processing tool
• Review and approve employee expense reports using a web-based employee expense reporting tool
• Administer resolution queues in web-based invoice processing tool to route invoices for payment
• Maintain overhead and benefits allocations for all business units
• Maintain records of fixed assets (additions, disposals, etc.) and depreciation expense
• Complete and file property tax returns annually
• Report status of capital expenditures for all business units
• Assist in preparation of audit and tax packages
• Add new employees to web-based invoice processing tool
• Serve as backup in setting up new vendors in the web-based invoice processing tool by acquiring and inputting W-9 tax forms

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent teamwork and inter-personal skills, communication skills, and organizational skills
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
