Analyst, Sales - Atlanta Hawks (Atlanta, GA)

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

·        Maintain, enhance and create all sales reporting needs and analytical projects.

o   This includes dynamic pricing analysis, internal and external sales reporting, working directly with sales teams to deliver departmental reporting, and operations analysis

·        Alongside ticketing analytics, the Analyst would work on all corporate advertising sales reports

Executive Assistant to Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer - Atlanta Hawks and Philips Arena (Atlanta, GA)

The Executive Assistant will be one of the main points of contact for the Corporate Partnerships and Business Development, Revenue Integration, Premium Seating and Ticket Sales departments. Reporting directly to the EVP & Chief Revenue Officer, this position will be responsible for answering questions in-person and by phone, directing calls in a prompt, decisive and courteous manner, exhibiting solid business acumen, using good judgment and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. In addition, this position is expected to have the wherewithal to think creatively about revenue generation, client needs, lead generation, etc. This position will also provide significant administrative support to include intensive record/database keeping, data entry and updates, calendar and schedule maintenance, arranging travel and more. Ability to work independently, keep department organized and on track, remain focused and have proven extraordinary attention to detail at all times is paramount.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide comprehensive support to the EVP & Chief Revenue Officer to include upkeep of client database, screening of telephone calls, visitors and correspondence (both electronic and traditional), processing client ticket requests, maintaining filings, making travel arrangements, maintaining calendars and coordinating meetings (set-up, catering, visitor access, parking, etc.); this position will act as a Chief of Staff, ensuring all runs smoothly at all times for EVP & Chief Revenue Officer

Administer client and contact strategy including producing a handwritten note within 24 hours after the meeting and keeping excellent notes and data on contacts

Schedule internal and external meetings, secure conference rooms and all related logistics, produce meeting agendas, presentation materials and all other related items.

Coordinate and oversee general office needs for department (stationary, office supplies, business cards, special projects, etc.)

Coordinate client services including ticket requests, parking, reservations, etc.

Maintain a positive rapport with clients and vendors and provide assistance and details as needed.

Represent company at highly-visible and prestigious events and serve as an event host as required.

Process invoices in accordance to Accounting policies, procedures and deadlines

Process expense reports in a timely and accurate manner

Develop in-game/concert meet and greets for Chief Revenue Officer

Serve as suite administrator: coordinate catering, ticket distribution, parking, special requests

Coordinate recaps upon conclusion of visits

Record meeting discussions (i.e. Weekly Sales & Marketing meeting) and memorialize meeting notes with distribution to list in a timely manner.

Assist with managing promotional item inventory.

Other duties and projects as assigned.

Perform various other special project duties or tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a Bachelor degree or higher

Minimum ten (10) years of experience providing comprehensive support to senior level executives required; additional years of experience are a plus

Ability to think creatively, while still being business minded and focused

Strong computer skills with heavy experience using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel; database management software/CRM systems is a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammatical, editing and proofreading skills

Ability to work with internal and external clients with a positive, customer service-oriented attitude, while getting tasks completed in a swift and quality manner

Responsibilities/Duties:

Team Member Development

  • Responsible for identifying opportunities within the Atlanta Hawks & Philips Arena event staff population (approximately 1,000 internal team members) to bring customer service initiatives across guest-facing positions to next level of service and southern hospitality
  • Partner with Customer Service SMEs to design and deliver Disney ELEVATE training and develop a strategy for re-enforcing training concepts.
  • Translate learning and development content into appropriate course format and materials including development of course agendas, facilitator guides, participant guides and presentation materials.
  • Partner with department heads and managers to identify ways to elevate performance and guest experience within each individual guest-facing, event staff role within the organization. Work with managers to implement and train on these initiatives
  • Manage event staff supervisor trainings and development.

THE ROLE:  This is a part-time seasonal position within the Atlanta Hawks Fan Experience Department. The Hawks are looking for positive and upbeat candidates to join the Hawks Flight Crew.  Members of the Flight Crew are tasked with uniting and empowering people to create extraordinary moments for those guests they encounter both in and out of Philips Arena with southern hospitality.  During the 2015-2016 NBA season, the Flight Crew will assist in energizing the crowd and helping to enhance fan experiences at all Hawks home games.   Aside from in-game duties, the Flight Crew serves as brand ambassadors at various events around metro Atlanta, including fairs, festivals, races, sponsor/partner events, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create a fun, loud, and positive atmosphere during all Hawks home games by interacting with fans, tossing giveaways to the crowd, encouraging fans to make noise, and more.
  • Promote the Atlanta Hawks at various events throughout the season, including fairs, festivals, sporting events, parades, concerts, and more.
  • Interact with fans of all ages to educate/inform the community of the Hawks messages (ticket updates, ticket offers, team information, playoff information, etc.).
  • Ability to arrive 3 hours prior to tip off (during home games) and 1 hour prior to event start (for out of arena events), unless otherwise noted.
  • Responsible for set-up and teardown of all out of arena and in-game Flight Crew events.
  • Assist with organization and maintenance of the marketing storage unit.
  • Responsible for data cultivation through online entries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work 35+ regular Hawks home games
  • Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities/Duties:

Develop the overall strategy of Atlanta Hawks and Philips Arena brand communications for all non-basketball related platforms
Develop communications strategy (plans & timing) for special events, in partnership with PR
Develop and manage a year-round communication calendar
