JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant will be the main point of contact for the Ticket Sales and Service department. Reporting directly to the SVP Sales & Service, this position will be responsible for answering questions in-person and by phone, directing calls in a prompt, decisive and courteous manner, exhibiting solid business acumen, using good judgment and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. In addition, this position is expected to have the wherewithal to think creatively about revenue generation, client needs, lead generation, etc. This position will also provide significant administrative support to include intensive record/database keeping, data entry and updates, calendar and schedule maintenance, arranging travel and more. Ability to work independently, keep department organized and on track, remain focused and have proven extraordinary attention to detail at all times is paramount.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Provide comprehensive support to the SVP Sales & Service to include upkeep of client database, screening of telephone calls, visitors and correspondence (both electronic and traditional), processing client ticket requests, maintaining filings, making travel arrangements, maintaining calendars and coordinating meetings (set-up, catering, visitor access, parking, etc.).
•Administer client and contact strategy including producing a handwritten note within 24 hours after the meeting and keeping excellent notes and data on contacts.
•Schedule internal and external meetings, secure conference rooms and all related logistics, produce meeting agendas, presentation materials and all other related items.
•Coordinate and oversee general office needs for department (stationary, office supplies, business cards, special projects, etc.)
•Coordinate client services including ticket requests, parking, reservations, etc.
•Maintain a positive rapport with clients and vendors and provide assistance and details as needed.
•Represent company at highly-visible and prestigious events and serve as an event host as required.
•Process invoices in accordance to Accounting policies, procedures and deadlines
•Process expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
•Record meeting discussions (i.e. Weekly Sales & Marketing meeting) and memorialize meeting notes with distribution to list in a timely manner.
•Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

CHARACTERISTICS  / QUALIFICATIONS
•Must have a Bachelor degree or higher.
•Minimum five (5) years of experience providing comprehensive support to senior level executives
•Ability to think creatively, while still being business minded and focused.
•Strong computer skills with heavy experience using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel; database management software/CRM systems is a plus.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammatical, editing and proofreading skills.
•Ability to work with internal and external clients with a positive, customer service-oriented attitude, while getting tasks completed in a swift and quality manner.
•Strong, proven organizational skills are required; candidate must have countless examples of specific ways they have kept themselves and their executive focused and organized.
•Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

Director of Marketing - LA Clippers (Los Angeles, CA)

Job Summary 

The Director of Marketing will manage and execute integrated marketing programs consistent with the brand and corporate strategy. This position is responsible for leading the company's marketing initiatives including; brand presentation, marketing strategy, advertising and promotional campaigns, youth and multicultural segment marketing, field marketing initiatives, collateral development, promotions, and other strategies. The Director of Marketing will work closely with business departments to drive their programs and help meet their respective business goals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

·         Lead the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies.

·         Manage and track advertising campaigns to drive revenue and brand awareness.

·         Collaborate with external agencies and internal resources to develop campaign creative and promotional materials that elevate the LA Clippers brand and drive revenue growth.

·         Lead development of the annual marketing calendar in partnership with the VP of Marketing.

·         Oversee the usage of the LA Clippers brand and its marks across all media & communications.

·         Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow awareness of and affinity for the LA Clippers within the youth and multicultural segments.

·         Partner effectively with internal teams including Ticket Sales, Groups, Communications, Digital and Corporate Partnerships to develop materials.

·         Implement and maintain SEO / SEM campaigns to maximize campaign effectiveness and revenue through digital channels.

·         Drive sales support initiatives including competitive analysis, sales prospecting and market research. Must have a keen sense of trends and opportunities in the market. Must be able to hone in on specific target markets in the area and tailor message appropriately.

·         Oversee all marketing activities on a daily basis including management of the Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer and the marketing internship program.

·         Help oversee and manage special events and community initiatives.

·         Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing, sports & entertainment or related marketing role.

Entertainment Manager - LA Clippers (Los Angeles, CA)

Job Summary

The Entertainment Manager is responsible for overseeing all of the Club’s entertainment assets, including but not limited to Clippers Spirit, Kid Clippers, and Hoop Troop. This role focuses on the administration of these teams’ logistical details and ensuring they have the proper resources to prepare for and execute their performances.  The Entertainment Manager also assists with handling logistics and details related to game entertainment, such as national anthem performers and halftime acts. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

·         Manage three or more entertainment teams, including performers and coaches. 

·         Act as entertainment stage manager on game days: 

o   Attend all preseason, regular season and post season games.

o   Create entertainment teams’ information sheets.

o   Provide Instruction and direction to ensure all contests, performances and sponsor elements are properly executed.

·         Work closely with Creative Director on creative direction and execution for entertainment teams.

·         Attend / coordinate additional team events as necessary.

·         Attend 35% of overall entertainment teams’ rehearsals.

·         Coordinate rehearsal schedules and secure rehearsal space.

·         Coordinate staffing schedules for in-game elements and external appearances.

·         Assist with coordination of auditions and photo shoots.

·         Promote growth of entertainment brand through appearance bookings, web and social media outlets.

·         Market entertainment team camps, clinics, auditions, and appearances.
