WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
•College students entering their junior or senior year, or recently graduated college within the last six months. 
•Hard-working, self-improvers who are collaborative team players, detail oriented, customer service professionals, strong communicators, proactive, and have a positive attitude.
•Available to work all home games. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
•Able to commit to the entire 2015-16 season.
•Must have a schedule that allows availability beginning at 3:00pm Monday through Friday and all day on weekends. (Only applicants that can meet the schedule requirements will be considered).  Employment is scheduled to begin in the last week of September 2015 and run through May or June 2016, averaging two to three games per week. Game night staff will be required to attend all home games and special events.
•Has reliable transportation to and from the STAPLES Center and LA Clippers Training Center as necessary.
•These positions are designed to provide students with hands on skills and experiences that can be readily applied to future challenges and professional pursuits.

Available Departments include:

Community Relations (15)
•Assist with execution of Community Relations programs and fundraising activities.
•Assist with coordinating community groups activities during pre-game experiences.
•Assist with distributing promotional items to guests as they enter the arena.

Fan Relations (20)
•Assist with the coordination and retention of Season Ticket Holders.
•Interact with Season Ticket Holders and fans through various in-game experiences and interactive fun zones.

Group Sales / Group Events (12)
•Assist with executing game day experiences.
•Greet and welcome clients as they receive their tickets and guiding them to their pre-determined location.
•Assist with the various Group Sales kiosks throughout the arena that provide information and direction for any special events.

Corporate Partnerships / Sponsorships (12)
•Assist with reception set-up and decoration of reception location.
•Assist with sponsor reception check-in, including directing and escorting sponsors to their location.
•Assist with in-arena sponsor promotion, including preparation and setup on the court.
•Facilitate all in-arena sponsor promotions.
•Assist with various radio production duties.

Digital Media (4)
•Assist in the creation and deployment of assets across the digital platforms.
•Assist with digital projects.
•Capture still images and videos for promotion across multimedia properties.

JOB SUMMARY
This position will assist the Controller with the development, interpretation, and implementation of complex financial and accounting concepts, reports, techniques for financial planning and internal controls, and maintenance of the general ledger.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
•Interpret financial policies, accounting theory, or financial regulations.
•Perform account reconciliations.
•Make entries to general ledger accounting system and perform account analysis on general ledger accounts.
•Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and analyze fluctuations.
•Assist with the Financial Statement and League mandated audits as well as any other external examinations that may occur during the year.
•Support key aspects of the annual audits (Team, Foundation, BRI/CFS, etc.), including preparation of audit schedules and compiling records.
•Stay current with FASB and its relevant pronouncements.
•Primary responsibilities include providing analysis and recommendations related to budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and variance analysis, including special projects.
•Analyze financial information to determine past, present, and future financial performance.
•Identify trends and recommends improvements.
•Make recommendations to management relative to cost savings or profit generation and profitability improvement strategies.
•Coordinate with all levels of the organization to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, new business activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
•Assist with ongoing improvement initiatives as related to the accounting, payroll, and financial reporting systems.
•Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; CPA License strongly preferred.
•Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in public accounting. 
•Previous Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
•Previous experience in sports or entertainment preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•Understanding of GAAP accounting principles, practices, and associated computer systems and interfaces.
•Experience with SOX 404 and a working knowledge of internal controls.
•Experience in analyzing business performance and developing financial plans.
•Must be well organized, able to multi-task, and detail-oriented.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in MS Excel or comparable complex spreadsheets.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Los Angeles Clippers are seeking hard working, positive, and passionate individuals that are committed to becoming an industry sales leader. This individual will go through a career growth oriented, sports sales development program. At the culmination of the program, this system will allow top performing sales reps internal and external opportunities to advance their sports careers.  The in depth training program will focus on growing one’s professional skill set as a full menu sales professional.

All Inside Sales Executives will be responsible for selling season tickets, mini plans, event suites, and groups. Revenue will be generated via phone, email marketing, face to face presentations, in-arena tours and out-of-office appointments. Day to day leadership and mentoring will be provided by the Inside Sales Manager.  The position pays hourly wages + Commission and Bonus Opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for the sale of new full season tickets, partial season ticket plans, group tickets, premium seating, and single game event suites
• Minimum 125 outbound phone calls daily
• Expected to prospect and qualify all potential sales opportunities
• Maintain computerized records of all season ticket customers and prospects with our CRM system
• Provide excellent customer service
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
• Assist customer service efforts (mailing invoices, tickets, etc…)
• Assist with Select-A-Seat events
