Sales, Service, & Marketing: Game Operations/Presentation
Head of Game Entertainment - Los Angeles Clippers (Los Angeles, CA)

Responsible for developing and directing all L.A. Clippers entertainment assets, including the Clippers Spirit Dance Team, Hoop Troop, in-arena hosts, and other branded entertainment offerings.  The position will be responsible for promoting the growth of the entertainment brands through appearance bookings, media coverage, global travel, web and social media features, partnership marketing content, merchandise offerings, and revenue generating fan experiences. Duties may be expanded to include other critical functions deemed essential by the Vice President of Marketing.


  • Develop breakthrough content and unparalleled fan experiences. 
  • Manage the selection and editing of music for all in-game performances.
  • Partner with designers and team managers to design and create costuming and footwear for all performers.
  • Research new talent in the music, design, and choreography industries to  enhance the entertainment experience.
  • Oversee the selection of National Anthem, Color Guard and Halftime performances.
  • Manage all members of the Game Night Staff.
  • Lead entertainment court rehearsals.
  • Provide direction to all entertainers and game night staff to ensure every contest, performance, and sponsored element is properly executed.
  • Facilitate all entertainment team events on game day, including but not limited to autograph sessions, suite visits, fan meet and greets, partner presentations and appearances, plaza activations, and live merchandise modeling.
  • Ensure entertainers are fully prepared and represent the Clippers brand positively at all in-house, sponsor driven, community driven, and out-of-house appearances.
  • Prepare entertainers for all media interviews and appearances to ensure proper representation of the Clippers brand.
  • Train entertainers to serve as ambassadors of the Clippers and the NBA through global travel on behalf of the team or league.
  • Design all entertainment team marketing materials.
  • Approve marketing materials that feature entertainment assets.
  • Direct annual entertainment team photo shoots.
  • Assist with the creative planning of video shoots.
  • Catalog all entertainment team images and media coverage.
  • Oversee Clippers Spirit social media and provide Marketing department with entertainment content for L.A. Clippers social media pages.
  • Create and promote unique content for entertainment team presenting partners.


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7 – 10 years experience in a related position are required.
  • 5 or more years in a supervisory position.
  • Experience working in the entertainment industry is preferred.

Administration/General Management: Administrative/Executive Assistant
Legal / HR Assistant - Los Angeles Clippers (Los Angeles, CA)

Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this position will serve as the Executive Assistant to the General Counsel and department assistant to the Human Resources Department.  This position is responsible for providing a wide rage confidential administrative support for the Vice President of Human Resources and day-to-day activities relating to the Human Resources department.


Paralegal Duties and Responsibilities:
•Perform legal research including but not limited to analyzing codes, court decisions, statutes, NBA rules and regulations and legal articles and documents pertaining to broadcast agreements, entertainment agreements, employment agreements, sponsorship agreements, merchandising agreements, vendor/service agreements, waivers, consents, real estate documents, finance documents, and legal correspondence for extensions, terminations, breach, trademark infringement, etc.
•Review, summarize and analyze corporate documents, NBA documents and major partner agreements; compile information and offer feedback as to whether employment practices, human resources, and general business practices comply with international, federal, state and local laws and regulations.
•Prepare all documents required to maintain registrations, corporate qualifications and business licenses.
•Assist General Counsel in the preparation and review of various commercial contracts including but not limited to consulting services agreements, retainer agreements, intellectual property agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and sponsorship agreements.
•Assist General Counsel in documenting and implementing all necessary Company policies, compliance procedures and protocols and ensure incorporation into Company’s contractual documents.
•Update and manage the Company’s contracts management system, as necessary.
•Assist with obtaining appropriate signatures by Company officers on contracts and back-end processing after execution.
•File, monitor and maintain intellectual property for the L.A. Clippers including trademark and copyright registrations.
•Maintain portfolio of marks in assigned jurisdictions on a routine basis, including meeting deadlines for renewals and other actions required to keep trademark registrations in force, calendaring dates, assembling information and preparing documents such as affidavits and declarations as required.
•Assist outside counsel with all Company related legal matters.
•Prepare a wide range of documents requiring the use of advanced word processing and formatting features, including but not limited to contracts, worksheets, presentations, memoranda, schedules, correspondences, organizational charts, pleadings and discovery.
•Maintain physical and electronic files and records and oversee office filing systems.
•Discreetly organize and maintain corporate documents that are confidential in nature.  Track and organize contracts and other corporate, regulatory and employment matters; maintain contract database and records retention guidelines.
•Proofread all material produced to ensure that spelling, grammar and terminology are correct, typographical and other errors are correct, and format standards are followed within the specified guidelines.
•Research relevant civil procedure codes and court rules and file documents with the courts.
•Provide assistance on litigation and claims; track the status of claims, cases and calendar deadlines for litigation matters and other projects.
•Provide general support, advice on policies, and answers to general inquiries for Clippers Foundation.

Executive Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
•Performs complex and confidential administrative functions including but not limited to organizing confidential files, performing data entry, copying, faxing, and maintaining accurate records
•Coordinate and manage all administrative matters affecting General Counsel’s office and the Human Resources Department, including department budgets, invoices from outside counsel and other vendors, travel and expense reimbursements, and department meetings and schedules.
•Arrange travel and conferences, prepare and submit travel-related documents and maintain travel information as necessary.
•Monitor incoming telephone calls, voicemails and e-mails and respond accordingly. Inform General Counsel of important requests needing immediate attention.
•Coordinate and arrange logistics for external functions including meetings, workshops, conferences, entertainment, receptions and dinner arrangements.
•Organize the office record keeping system; create and maintain notebooks for General Counsel’s professional memberships and board meetings.
•Manage and maintain calendar for General Counsel requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants, as well as consultants, to coordinate a variety of complex meetings.
•Record minutes, prepare agendas, compile other materials for meetings, and maintain permanent and confidential records of meetings.
•Provide technological support on an ongoing basis; use internet-based meeting programs; arrange teleconferences and webcasts; arrange and reserve conference rooms, catering, audio visual and telephone equipment for meetings and conferences as requested.
•Interact with all levels within the organization including senior management and serve as an external communication bridge between various departments.
•Receive, sort, log, and route mail.
•Photocopy, scan, collate, distribute, and file documents.
•Maintain inventory of office supplies.

•Undergraduate degree.
•Paralegal certification.
•Prior work experience handling confidential and sensitive data and information as part of job responsibilities.

•Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including outside attorneys, senior management and business associates.
•Sound judgment and decision making skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and Lexis-Nexis/Westlaw research programs.
•Must be able to work a flexible and dynamic work schedule that accommodates the needs and demands of the stakeholders in regards to project requests.
•High level of personal integrity and professional ethics.
•Flexible and adaptable to changing business conditions.
