The Atlanta Dream Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue by selling season tickets, partial plans, and group ticket packages to area businesses, individuals, and local group/organizations. Account Executives achieve their goals by phone prospecting, setting outside and inside appointments, hosting in-arena tours, participating in sales/promotional events and prospecting at Dream home games as well as internal/external events. Also responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, updating and maintaining account records and other duties assigned.


  • Sell season & partial season tickets and other ticket products.

  • Meet and exceed the required outbound call effort to generate sales.

  • Achieve and succeed monthly and annual revenue goals.

  • Generate prospective customers through cold calls, networking and obtaining referrals from existing customers

  • Work all Atlanta Dream home games, as well as team and community events for the purpose of securing ticket sale opportunities.

  • Service the needs of each existing account, while building relationships to provide excellent customer and renew each season ticket and group account.

  • Maintain computerized records of all clients and prospects with our CRM system.

  • Assist customer service efforts during renewal campaigns.

  • Become knowledgeable in pricing, discounts, promotions and Dream policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position will not have managerial responsibilities.

Qualifications and EXPERIENCE

  • College degree required

  • Three to five years of successful work experience, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry

  • Prior experience in ticket sales, telemarketing, appointment scheduling or cold-calling techniques is preferred

  • Possess excellent customer service skills

  • Great professional phone sales technique and skills

  • Must be able to manage schedule to achieve daily goals for calls, appointments and sales

  • Proficient with Archtics and TicketMaster ticketing systems, or a similar ticketing system

  • Handle problems and customers in an efficient and courteous manner

  • Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work with a team.

  • Be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Proficient in Database Applications, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Knowledge of and passion for Dream/WNBA preferred

Ticket Operations Internship - Atlanta Dream (Atlanta, GA)

Job Title:            Ticket Operations Internship

Reports To:      Manager of Ticket Operations

Salary:                 For college class/program credit only; experience

Summary:         The Atlanta Dream is seeking dedicated, outgoing, and team-oriented individuals to fill the role of Ticket Operations Intern.  Intern will assist with ticket operation requests along with managing the day-to-day ticket service functions both in the office. The Ticket Operations Intern will process and fulfill ticket orders in TM Archtics ticketing system, assist with season ticket distribution, and generate sales and revenue reports.  Applicants seeking to gain experience working in professional sports in the area of ticket operations/sales are encouraged to apply.  Internship will begin May 2016 and run through September 2016.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for working on active ticketing system selling tickets to patrons

Generate reports from Ticketing System and Microsoft Excel

Assist in processing Group and Season ticket orders

Assist with ticket printing, packaging, and mailings

Assist Box Office on Game Days with ticket window sales, will call

Providing excellent customer service while assisting/resolving ticket related customer service issues

Other duties as assigned by Ticket Operations Managers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Currently pursuing, or have achieved, an undergraduate or graduate degree in Sports Management, Business or related field preferred

Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet applications

Ticket experience, specifically with Ticketmaster Archtics and/or Host a plus

Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate information in a fast-paced environment

Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing situations as necessary and resolve guest issues in real time

Highly motivated with ability to understand products and services

Ability to work minimum 20 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Must be able to perform physical demands including, but not limited to:  sitting, reaching with arms and hands, able to lift 40 lbs

Candidates must be able to travel to Dream Offices in Atlanta, GA or various events throughout the Atlanta Metro area.  Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment however employee may have “game-day” responsibilities where the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time including during nights, weekends and holidays.  Candidates performing the duties of this job must be able to walk up and down stairs, use and reach with hands and arms, communicate verbally, listen clearly, and occasionally lift.  This is a seasonal, internship opportunity and no benefits will be provided.
