The Atlanta Dream Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue by selling season tickets, partial plans, and group ticket packages to area businesses, individuals, and local group/organizations. Account Executives achieve their goals by phone prospecting, setting outside and inside appointments, hosting in-arena tours, participating in sales/promotional events and prospecting at Dream home games as well as internal/external events. Also responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, updating and maintaining account records and other duties assigned.


  • Sell season & partial season tickets and other ticket products.

  • Meet and exceed the required outbound call effort to generate sales.

  • Achieve and succeed monthly and annual revenue goals.

  • Generate prospective customers through cold calls, networking and obtaining referrals from existing customers

  • Work all Atlanta Dream home games, as well as team and community events for the purpose of securing ticket sale opportunities.

  • Service the needs of each existing account, while building relationships to provide excellent customer and renew each season ticket and group account.

  • Maintain computerized records of all clients and prospects with our CRM system.

  • Assist customer service efforts during renewal campaigns.

  • Become knowledgeable in pricing, discounts, promotions and Dream policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position will not have managerial responsibilities.

Qualifications and EXPERIENCE

  • College degree required

  • Three to five years of successful work experience, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry

  • Prior experience in ticket sales, telemarketing, appointment scheduling or cold-calling techniques is preferred

  • Possess excellent customer service skills

  • Great professional phone sales technique and skills

  • Must be able to manage schedule to achieve daily goals for calls, appointments and sales

  • Proficient with Archtics and TicketMaster ticketing systems, or a similar ticketing system

  • Handle problems and customers in an efficient and courteous manner

  • Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work with a team.

  • Be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Proficient in Database Applications, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Knowledge of and passion for Dream/WNBA preferred

Title: Atlanta Dream Coordinator, Finance & Administration

Department: Atlanta Dream Finance & Administration

Reports to: Atlanta Dream Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Type: Exempt,Full-Time


The Atlanta Dream Coordinator of Finance & Administration will primarily be responsible for performing daily accounting functions, including but not limited to general ledger account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, recording and posting entries in the financial system, preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (G.A.A.P.) and established company polices, accounts receivable collections, processing accounts payables invoice, and performing ad-hoc accounting projects as requested by management. In addition, the coordinator will be responsible for administrative duties that include management of the shared company file structure, assisting with player / staff on-boarding processes and helping develop strong office procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare bank deposits & bank transfers

Prepare monthly bank reconciliation

Prepare, input and file monthly journal entries

Prepare monthly pre-paids and accruals

Compile and track fixed assets & depreciation

Prepare accounts receivable (A/R) invoicing

Conduct A/R follow-up (phone calls/2nd and 3rd notices, etc.)

Prepare monthly account roll forwards and balance sheet account reconciliations

Process Accounts Payable (A/P) invoices

Assist with preparation and analysis of organizational financial statements

Assist with other monthly close activities as assigned

Player and seasonal staff paperwork processing

Prepare annual tax forms, such as W-2s and 1099s

Assist with the annual financial audit

Other related duties as assigned

Contribute to the development and maintenance of company-wide policies and procedures


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance

0-3 years accounting experience

Knowledge and Skills: 

Familiarity with accounting/financial software -- Experience using team accounting software preferred

Solid understanding of general accounting principles

Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines

Ability to analyze and evaluate financial data and effectively communicate verbally and in writing

Strong administrative and organization skills with attention to detail and follow-up required

Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management demonstrating a strong balance of technical and interpersonal skills

Atlanta Dream Ticket Operations Manager

Position Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing the entire Ticket Operations department. Manages all financials with respect to ticket sales, as well as controls ticket inventory.

Reports to: Director of Ticket Sales & Service

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Reconciles daily, monthly and seasonal financial statements
Responsible for customer service training and box office training for game day box office employees
Develop a ticket operations business plan with the Director of Sales & Service
Manage relationship with all daily deal partners including but not limited to Groupon, Deal Swarm, GoldStar, Living
Social, Half Off Depot, ScoreBig, Homerun, Viagogo, Amazon, Homerun and AT&T
Responsible for implementing all related TicketMaster marketing and sales tools
Responsible for all internal/external ticket requests
Responsible for reporting accurate sales numbers and revenue to the Finance Department
Manages ticket inventory including season sales, group sales, promotional packages, and single ticket sales Supervises the department operations and functions including invoicing of account holders, seat upgrades,
allocations, transfers, and payment plans
Responsible for production and distribution of all tickets
Works in conjunction with Sales, Sponsorship, Community Relations, Basketball Operations, and Media Relations
departments for all internal ticket allotment and allocation
Works with the Marketing and Sales department in the development of promotional campaigns and materials Supervises the fulfillment of internal and league ticket requests
Serves as a liaison between the WNBA Atlanta Ticket Operations and the Philips Arena Box Office
Process payments, print tickets, and process daily sales reports
Provides Archtics training for Account Executives and Ticket Operations staff
Coordinates with DSA/TicketMaster on the creation of events and events on sale
Acts as the liaison with TicketMaster; responsible for Archtics updates and conversions
Handles customer inquiries
Perform customer service duties in management role at Box Office
Responsible for supervising the Ticket Operations Department
Must be able to work all home games
Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly
Must be able to take direction and work well with others
Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines
Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately
Must be able to react to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned

Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years ticket sales box office experience required
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and be proactive in anticipating problems and providing ticketing and customer service solutions
Advanced knowledge of Ticketmaster system and Archtics required
Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook
Ability to work effectively and independently on multiple projects
Great organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet and exceed customers’ needs and expectations
Must be flexible regarding work hours as duties will require working outside of “normal 9-5” schedule
