Overview of the Job: The main function of this position is to provide support to the different areas of the HR Department, including but not limited to administrative functions. Some responsibilities include: Responding to general HR inquiries made by The HEAT Group staff via e-mail, telephone and in-person. Assist in creating, maintaining, and auditing all employee files, employee shadow files, contract files and intern files. Assist the Recruiters with such tasks as making new hire packets, insuring new hire paperwork is complete for all new hires, and assisting with scheduling interviews. Support Benefits Specialist with benefits administration; such as benefits filing, making benefits packets, assisting with mailings and enrollment meetings.

Must have solid Human Resources knowledge or experience. Excellent interpersonal skills plus strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Brief Overview of the Position

Overview of the Job: To sell tickets, distribute will call and service all of our guests at all HEAT games and Arena events with the highest degree of courtesy, professionalism, thoughtfulness, sincerity and enthusiasm. Provide exceptional customer service to all of our guests at all HEAT games and Arena events. Professionally and accurately sell tickets for all HEAT games and Arena events to our guests at our sales windows. Possess the ability to handle cash and make change during cash transactions. Accurately distribute will call tickets to our guests for all HEAT games and Arena events.  Must be able to reconcile all daily sales without any overage/shortage occurring. Must be able to communicate clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations and remain professional with our guests at our Customer Service and HEAT Season Ticket Services windows. Answer inbound phones with the highest level of courtesy and accurately answer all guests inquires. High school diploma and Six months to one year of cashier experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, proven organization skills, computer literate, and strong customer service skills preferred. Ticketmaster and Archtics experience a PLUS.

Chinese Translation Internet Services Assistant - Miami HEAT (Miami, FL)

Overview of the Job: Responsible for updating graphics and copy for HEAT.com/China and HEAT.com properties daily. This position will also work with the Miami HEAT Broadcast department in the creation, translation and deployment of video presentations and features.  Creation involves high proficiency in editing tools such as AVID and Final Cut Pro, as well as strength in video production and direction.  Candidate must be fluent in writing, translating and speaking Mandarin Chinese.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a credited college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to monitor and handle multiple tasks. Time management skills needed. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines. Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop (or similar graphics program), HTML, translation tools and Microsoft Office programs. Multi-media skills such as non-linear editing on software platforms like AVID, Adobe Premiere or Final Cut a big plus.
