Brief Job Description of the Position

Overview of the Job: Oversee and act as a liaison between assigned Premium Accounts and The HEAT Group. Provide all clients with the highest level of service in the industry. Ensure all contractual obligations are being fulfilled while continuing to seek incremental revenue streams via these accounts and internal partner opportunities. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience may serve as a substitute for education on the basis of two years’ experience for one year of education. Minimum of two years high-end customer service experience. One year related experience in an arena or similar venue preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are required, both written and verbal. Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal instruction. Strong customer service skills required. Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word PowerPoint, Outlook), organizational and clerical ability. Highly motivated with a professional demeanor. Knowledgeable in both Marketing and Operations. Bilingual (English/Spanish language) preferred.

Overview of the Job: To sell tickets, distribute will call and service all of our guests at all HEAT games and Arena events with the highest degree of courtesy, professionalism, thoughtfulness, sincerity and enthusiasm. Provide exceptional customer service to all of our guests at all HEAT games and Arena events. Professionally and accurately sell tickets for all HEAT games and Arena events to our guests at our sales windows. Possess the ability to handle cash and make change during cash transactions. Accurately distribute will call tickets to our guests for all HEAT games and Arena events.  Must be able to reconcile all daily sales without any overage/shortage occurring. Must be able to communicate clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations and remain professional with our guests at our Customer Service and HEAT Season Ticket Services windows. Answer inbound phones with the highest level of courtesy and accurately answer all guests inquires. High school diploma and Six months to one year of cashier experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, proven organization skills, computer literate, and strong customer service skills preferred. Ticketmaster and Archtics experience a PLUS.

Brief Discription of the Internship

Overview of the Internship: Responsible for sorting, handling, and fulfillment of all incoming requests. Assist in the coordination and execution of all community affairs events & programs including, but not limited to NBA Cares, Holiday programs, Hispanic Heritage Month and Black History Month, HEAT Learn to Swim Program, HEAT Academy, HEAT Youth Basketball.  Responsible for scheduling and fulfillment of the Honorary Ball Kid Program at all HEAT games. Responsible for writing Community Affairs event recap pieces for HEAT.com. Duties also include general office duties such as: data entry, answering phones, copying, filing, faxing, and maintaining mailing lists and donation requests. Will perform other duties as required.

Must be enrolled in a college or university. Undergraduate Senior or Graduate Student preferred. Event planning and project management experience helpful. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple tasks.  MS Word, Excel and Outlook required.  Heavy lifting will be required at times. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.Must be enrolled in school and able to work from June to June.

Brief Description of the Position

Overview of the Job: Oversee all matters of Security for the HEAT Group Organization, AmericanAirlines Arena and the arena property. Manage all full-time Security Officers. Oversee the security Command Center and all related security systems and content, including CCTV and security technology throughout the arena property. Investigate all security related incidents and follow up with written reports and recommendations. Work in conjunction with Risk Manager to plan, organize, review and update Life Safety SOP's for the HEAT Group. This includes, but is not limited to, regularly scheduled life safety trainings and emergency evacuation drills for all HEAT Group staff and arena partners. Work with Management and Event Services to enforce and execute NBA Arena Security Procedures & Guidelines. Oversee all theft and loss prevention issues, followed by a thorough investigation and concluding with a written report and recommendation. Liaison with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. Serve as primary arena contact for City of Miami Police Dept. and ensure safe and expeditious ingress/egress traffic patterns are followed by MPD. Oversee all administrative aspects of the security department, including but not limited to scheduling, payroll, budgets, training manuals and reports.  

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university. At least four years of related experience required. Law enforcement or military a plus. Crisis management, investigation skills, security technolgy (CCTV) expertise, life saftey, risk management, guest service, payroll and scheduling experience preferred. Must be a team player and have the ability to coach/mentor others.
