Description

The Application Development team is tasked with designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to improve and enhance our enterprise software. Our enterprise software is surprisingly complex, difficult to get right, and at the same time a lot of fun to work on. We hire people who are considered “Programmer”, “Software Engineer” and “Software Architect” at other companies. Titles are not as important to us as the quality of the people we work with and the opportunity to be productive. Required Technical Skills

·         Solid database design, development & administration experience using SQL Server 2008, 2012 or 2014

·         Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles

·         Experience developing with C# -(Windows and ASP.NET 3.5+ (Webforms and MVC)

·         Experience with Client/Server and SOA architectures

·         Experience with Web Services, WCF

·         Experience with HTML5, AJAX, JQuery & Javascript

Overview of the Internship: To assist the Director of Event Services & Event Managers with the overall event coordination of Heat games, concerts and small scaled events. Brief Description of the Position

Overview of the Job-  To provide secretarial and administrative support for the Associate General Counsel.  Also provide support for special projects and assist Basketball Operations with administrative support as needed, including contract copies, distribution both internal and external.

Essential Responisiblites incluide: Answer/ route telephone calls, taking messages as necessary, perform call screening;  Prioritize and distribute mail; Assist with organizing and maintaining department files and maintain accurate document filing; Serve as liaison to staff; Take verbal dictations.  Draft, edit and finalize letters and correspondence;  Prepare/ edit presentations or documents utilizing Microsoft Office Products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point; Maintain calendars and schedule appointments. IT Help Desk Coordinator- Full Time - Miami HEAT (Miami, FL)

Brief Description of the Position

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill an I.T. Helpdesk Coordinator position at AmericanAirlines Arena, home of the 3 time World Champion Miami HEAT.  This position will provide remote and onsite hands-on support to staff, vendors, and customers as well as, proactively identify issues (beyond the positions role & responsibility) and escalate issues to the Network Administration team as needed.  The ideal candidate will have the skills to diagnose and repair desktop hardware; laser printers; cellular telephones; desktop software applications and provide on-site support for basketball games and events.  Also, this individual will work closely with a team of helpdesk professionals under the guidance and supervision of the Director of IT Operations.

The list below is representative of additional duties and responsibilities, but it is not meant to be exhaustive of all duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first level help desktop support to internal office end users
  • Reduce help desk incidents and the mean time of repairs by proactively repairing hardware as needed.
  • Prioritize severity of helpdesk calls and minimize user downtime
  • Provide level 1 Point of Sale support and maintenance for retail and food and beverage operations
  • Provide documentation for procedural I.T. operations
  • Learn all arena game day and event systems
  • Provide safe and neat Ethernet cabling runs
  • Repair and maintain Laser printers
  • Repair, maintain and upgrade cellular phones
  • Organize, track and maintain stock for various hardware systems
  • Establish vendor relationships and make hardware and software purchasing recommendations
  • Project manage various small to medium sized projects
  • Monitor, and remediate software updates for desktop applications
  • Respond to Virus, Malware and various security threats while implementing preventative measures to minimize risk
  • Provide internet connectivity services to 3rd party vendors, Event personnel and Basketball Operations
  • Provide level 1 support of Ticketmaster hardware and software technology
  • Maintain desktop and device compliance policies by enforcing company security settings, software settings and user restrictions
  • Track, document and maintain all helpdesk requests utilizing a ticket management system

 Requirements

  • Min. 4 years of hands-on I.T. business experience with the following areas
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Microsoft Windows
  • Repair and maintenance of network laser printers
  • Desktop maintenance, repair and installation

Candidate must have a basic foundation and understanding of the following areas:

  • Active Directory Groups, Users and Organizational units
  • Windows user rights and permissions
  • Network topology and LAN infrastructure

Candidate must have the ability to work well with others in a team environment; accept constructive criticism and have a positive attitude.

Player/Basketball Operations: Equipment Manager
Team Attendant- Seasonal- Temporary- Part-Time - Miami HEAT (Miami, FL)

Brief Description of the Position

Overview of the Job: The Team Attendant’s main function is to assist the Head Equipment Manager in various tasks including, but not limited to, cleaning the locker room, mopping the basketball court, organizing the equipment room and washing and folding laundry. Responsibilities include mopping up sweat during games; rebounding pre-game/halftime; dispensing of water and towels; organization and maintenance of warmups during game; assist with laundry duties; washing/folding and putting away towels/uniforms; assist with cleanliness and organization of locker room; assist with bench setups/teardown. May be asked to help straighten equipment room; assist with player/coaches’ needs as directed by supervisor; stock refrigerators; assist Equipment Manager with any other duties assigned; assist visiting teams with moving and unloading equipment. Other duties assigned to you by staff of visiting team. Ideal candidate must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays on a flexible schedule. All team attendants are required to be at arena 3 1/2 hours prior to game time. Candidate must have great communication skills. Must be able to work well with others. Must be able to take direction. Must be able to multi-task. Must be organized. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (lbs.)
