The Application Development team is tasked with designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to improve and enhance our enterprise software. Our enterprise software is surprisingly complex, difficult to get right, and at the same time a lot of fun to work on. We hire people who are considered “Programmer”, “Software Engineer” and “Software Architect” at other companies. Titles are not as important to us as the quality of the people we work with and the opportunity to be productive. Required Technical Skills

·         Solid database design, development & administration experience using SQL Server 2008, 2012 or 2014

Overview of the Internship: Responsible for sorting, handling, and fulfillment of all incoming requests. Coordinate and assist in setup of items for HEAT Family Festival Silent Auction.Assist with reviewing of HEAT Scholarships, based on the requirements in each student’s application and quality of their essay. Overview of the Job: The Internet Services Translation Coordinator will be responsible for the translation, posting, creation and distribution of foreign language content for HEAT.com.  This position will serve as the liaison between the Internet Services Department and the Broadcast Department’s foreign language part-time employees.  .  The Coordinator will supervise the activities of the part-time employees and instruct those responsible for creating foreign language video.  This position will also create foreign language social media messaging and distribution for HEAT.com as well.

Brief Description of the Position

Overview of the Job: The HEAT Group is looking for a competent Live Sound Engineer to mix in arena audio for our NBA live productions. Ideal Candidate will operate sound equipment in live events to ensure the best acoustic result. They must be deft around sensitive audio equipment and experts in using them to produce quality sound. They must also be knowledgeable about different audio recording and editing techniques. Mental discipline in a multitasking environment is necessary. Requirements include:

  1. Follow instructions and details from directors, producers, etc.
  2. Set up and test sound equipment before events, broadcasts or recordings
  3. Play backing tracks and special effects during live events
  4. Collaborate with all positions in a live production control room
  5. Adept with Clear-Com, Yamaha CL5, Presonus, Shure, Lake Controller, Dante and other software’s & AoIP protocols
  6. Capable of on-the-fly changes and patching in a fast moving environment
  7. Resolve technical issues when they arise
  8. Installation experience with audio and video equipment is a plus

High school diploma; Degree in audio/sound engineering or related field is a plus but not necessary. Proven experience as live sound engineer. Technical expertise in sound engineering techniques (e.g. feedback equalization, patching, digital plugins). Experience with live sound and recording equipment (e.g. mixing consoles). A team player with excellent communication skills. Excellent hearing and manual dexterity.Some lifting may be required during setup of events. Candidate should be comfortable with heights.

Overview of the Job: The Team Attendant’s main function is to assist the Head Equipment Manager in various tasks including, but not limited to, cleaning the locker room, mopping the basketball court, organizing the equipment room and washing and folding laundry. Responsibilities include mopping up sweat during games; rebounding pre-game/halftime; dispensing of water and towels; organization and maintenance of warmups during game; assist with laundry duties; washing/folding and putting away towels/uniforms; assist with cleanliness and organization of locker room; assist with bench setups/teardown. Other duties assigned to you by staff of visiting team. Ideal candidate must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays on a flexible schedule. All team attendants are required to be at arena 3 1/2 hours prior to game time. Candidate must have great communication skills. Must be able to work well with others. Must be able to take direction. Must be able to multi-task. Must be organized. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (lbs.)
