Coordinator, Season Ticket Services & Retention- Full Time - Miami HEAT (Miami, FL)

Brief Description of the Position

Overview of the Job:
• Plan, communicate, execute and measure all STSR events and activities for Season Ticket Holders and potential new sales (referrals). Including but not limited to the following: Casino Night, Kids Camp, Dewar’s Event, Meet and Greets, Open Practice, Select - a- Seat, Influencers; ensure all events meet budgeted financial objectives.
• Meet with key departments such as Marketing, Events Services, Strategic Planning, and Communications to develop quality marketing and promotional pieces for events and other STSR initiatives. I.e. Renewal collateral, invitations, direct mail pieces, poster boards.
• Assist in hiring and developing department interns.
• Answer STSR Hoop line and phone messages daily, systematically distribute and ensure follow up.
• Ensure personal timesheet is updated daily.
• Maintain STSR social media platforms and content including dedicated website, twitter account, and Facebook. Work closely with our Media team to ensure messages are consistent and compliant with Heat standards and procedures.
• Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets based on season ticket services retention and productivity data to help measure and customize STSR events.
• Create and maintain organized calendar of all STSR assets and events that impact STH or shareholders I.e. Game day calendar, yearly events calendar, 30-60-90 day outlooks and timelines.
• Assist with composing, proofreading, and editing of all communication devices to new and current STH. Collaborate all with internal communications to ensure organizational continuity.
• Develop and coordinate system on ensuring customer profile info is consistently collected and updated during all events and activities. Execute customized surveys for all events.
• Assist with ticket plan renewal process including but not limited to printing and pricing of tickets, messaging, payment options, upgrades, benefits and incentives.
• Responsible for tracking and maintaining our supplies and Inventory. Implement control system to ensure consumption and distribution.
• Attend STSR departmental meetings and communicate immediate and future events, and update action items.
• Attend necessary operational meetings determined by MGT to ensure communication of events to organization.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required. 1 years experience in sports or related industry to understand departmental roles. Proficient in excel, word, power point, archtics to maintain tracking forms for but not limited to budgets, expenses and event calendars. Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly. Must be able to take direction and work well with others. Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines. Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately. Must be able to react to change productively.

Overview of the Internship: To assist the Director of Event Services & Event Managers with the overall event coordination of Heat games, concerts and small scaled events. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting Event Manager with staffing deployments, creating maps, reviewing the technical rider, advancing the show with the Promoter and/or clients and creating event worksheets. Brief Description of the Internship

Overview of the Internship: The Miami HEAT is hiring an enthusiastic Graphic Design Intern. The Graphic Design Intern will assist in all things creative and be a core member of the HEAT design team. Candidate should have interest and experience in designing for print and interactive media.  The Graphic Design Intern must be able to design within the constraints of the brand identity and maintain consistency of design across each medium.

Responsibilities: Assist the Junior Graphic Designers and Senior Graphic Designer with projects. Work closely with creative team to ensure projects are completed within deadline and reflect HEAT brand standards. Use exceptional design skills to create original, innovative concepts and designs that appropriately reflect HEAT branding and applications. Understand and apply new technologies that encourage innovation.

Must be enrolled in a college/university for the duration of the internship. Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite. Solid understanding of layout, typography, hierarchy, color theory, patterns and other design principles. Demonstrates brand/visual elements across multiple mediums in web, print, interactive, and social media assets. Ability to meet deadlines. Illustration skills a plus.

IT Help Desk Coordinator - Miami HEAT (Miami, FL)

Brief Description of the Position

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill an I.T. Helpdesk Coordinator position at AmericanAirlines Arena, home of the 3 time World Champion Miami HEAT.  This position will provide remote and onsite hands-on support to staff, vendors, and customers as well as, proactively identify issues (beyond the positions role & responsibility) and escalate issues to the Network Administration team as needed.  The ideal candidate will have the skills to diagnose and repair desktop hardware; laser printers; cellular telephones; desktop software applications and provide on-site support for basketball games and events.  Also, this individual will work closely with a team of helpdesk professionals under the guidance and supervision of the Director of IT Operations.

The list below is representative of additional duties and responsibilities, but it is not meant to be exhaustive of all duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first level help desktop support to internal office end users
  • Reduce help desk incidents and the mean time of repairs by proactively repairing hardware as needed.
  • Prioritize severity of helpdesk calls and minimize user downtime
  • Provide level 1 Point of Sale support and maintenance for retail and food and beverage operations
  • Provide documentation for procedural I.T. operations
  • Learn all arena game day and event systems
  • Provide safe and neat Ethernet cabling runs
  • Repair and maintain Laser printers
  • Repair, maintain and upgrade cellular phones
  • Organize, track and maintain stock for various hardware systems
  • Establish vendor relationships and make hardware and software purchasing recommendations
  • Project manage various small to medium sized projects
  • Monitor, and remediate software updates for desktop applications
  • Respond to Virus, Malware and various security threats while implementing preventative measures to minimize risk
  • Provide internet connectivity services to 3rd party vendors, Event personnel and Basketball Operations
  • Provide level 1 support of Ticketmaster hardware and software technology
  • Maintain desktop and device compliance policies by enforcing company security settings, software settings and user restrictions
  • Track, document and maintain all helpdesk requests utilizing a ticket management system

 Requirements

  • Min. 4 years of hands-on I.T. business experience with the following areas
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Microsoft Windows
  • Repair and maintenance of network laser printers
  • Desktop maintenance, repair and installation

Candidate must have a basic foundation and understanding of the following areas:

  • Active Directory Groups, Users and Organizational units
  • Windows user rights and permissions
  • Network topology and LAN infrastructure

Candidate must have the ability to work well with others in a team environment; accept constructive criticism and have a positive attitude.

Must be flexible to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, holidays and swing shifts, if necessary-- as needed and when needed.

Overview of the Job : Responsible for accomplishing touch point and renewal goals with season ticket holders.Collects database information from season ticket holders during outbound phone campaigns. Logging information for season ticket information and touch points in Archtics. Fulfills all requests that arise through season ticket hotline, email and personal voicemail. Resolve problems in an effective manner, makes note of any problems and if resolution is not made immediately, then resolve following business day. Schedules any necessary follow up calls or visits with season ticket holders. Deliver customized services to season ticket holders. Assist department with all projects that arise throughout the season. These vary in nature from mass mailings to game day and special events. Foster teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication  within Season Ticket Services department and other departments within the organization. Update database with new contact information that is received. Provides support during game day to part time Guest Service staff.
BA/BS from four-year college or university preferred. One or two years work experience with a professional sports team or collegiate athletic department in a service or marketing capacity. Excellent customer service, excellent computer skills, problem solving, communication, time management is essential.
