The Application Development team is tasked with designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to improve and enhance our enterprise software. Required Technical Skills

HVAC Technician- Full Time - Miami HEAT (Miami, FL)

Brief Description of the Position

Overview of the Job: Under general direction, responsible for monitoring, repairing and maintaining the various types of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) systems. Operate and repair the facility’s HVACR system to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the facility; Monitor operation of facility HVACR systems noting current status, identifying potential problems and taking corrective action where appropriate; Assist, perform, develop and implement preventative maintenance and other standard operating procedures on HVAC equipment; Record and log all work performed, complete work order slips and compile all required reports in a timely and complete manner through the building maintenance work order system; Interpret building blueprints and equipment schematics; Respond to visual and audible alarms from building automation and life safety systems; Operate equipment, such as, light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, scrubbing machines, or other light power driven equipment; Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and supplies, prepare requisition forms for purchases and pick up supplies and materials from vendors; Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed; Assists co-workers in the Engineering and Operations departments with projects. Inspect / Maintain Ice plant keep logs of all readings; Maintain / operate chilled water system; Supervise / Inspect all tenants HVACR System; Maintain all HVACR equipment including food, beverage pantries, concession stands and main kitchen;

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess refrigerant, E.P.A., and Journeyman certificate(s). Demonstrate a through understanding of the operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services, and technical requirements for the types of HVAC needs anticipated at the facility. IT Help Desk Coordinator- Full Time - Miami HEAT (Miami, FL)

Brief Description of the Position

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill an I.T. Helpdesk Coordinator position at AmericanAirlines Arena, home of the 3 time World Champion Miami HEAT.  This position will provide remote and onsite hands-on support to staff, vendors, and customers as well as, proactively identify issues (beyond the positions role & responsibility) and escalate issues to the Network Administration team as needed.  The ideal candidate will have the skills to diagnose and repair desktop hardware; laser printers; cellular telephones; desktop software applications and provide on-site support for basketball games and events.  Also, this individual will work closely with a team of helpdesk professionals under the guidance and supervision of the Director of IT Operations.

The list below is representative of additional duties and responsibilities, but it is not meant to be exhaustive of all duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first level help desktop support to internal office end users
  • Reduce help desk incidents and the mean time of repairs by proactively repairing hardware as needed.
  • Prioritize severity of helpdesk calls and minimize user downtime
  • Provide level 1 Point of Sale support and maintenance for retail and food and beverage operations
  • Provide documentation for procedural I.T. operations
  • Learn all arena game day and event systems
  • Provide safe and neat Ethernet cabling runs

Overview of the Job: The Miami HEAT seek an experienced Telecommunications Systems Administrator to work with its technical staff in Miami. The ideal candidate must be a motivated & professional self-starter who possesses excellent oral and written communication skills and works well under pressure. Major responsibilities include: Installation design, maintenance, configuration, training and troubleshooting of Avaya Definity G3 PBX, and Intuity Messaging system. Installation, testing, and configuration of trunks lines: T1' s, ISDN PRI, DID, E&M, Loop / Ground Start. Design, support, and cabling of Voice/ LAN/ WAN, both Cat5 and fiber optics. Call Center design and implementation: ACD, Call Vectoring, Auto Attendant, and call detailing reporting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years experience: Troubleshooting in-depth telecommunications infrastructure issues. Installing, designing, maintaining, configuring, training and troubleshooting of Avaya Definity G3 PBX, and Intuity Messaging system. Utilizing project management skills to solve complex problems. Documenting and updating systems design and deployment through Visio or other written means.  

College degree preferred and/or  work equivalent experience. Pertinent Avaya Definity G3 PBX / Intuity Messaging systems technical certifications. Other relevant technical certifications or experience in Design, support, and cabling of Voice/ LAN/ WAN, both Cat5 and fiber optics.

Brief Job Description of the Position

Overview of the Job: Primary responsibility is to greet guests, check tickets, and direct guests to their seats. Previous guest services experience a plus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to easily maneuver throughout the Arena. Strong customer service skills preferred.
