JOB SUMMARY
To assist and provide support to the Sales Department. Should be self-motivated and enjoy business operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Must be able to communicate with other sports teams in all major and minor leagues in regards to business operations, season, group, and club and suite sales information.
• Will research trends around the NBA and other professional sports leagues.
• Will assist in creating, developing and implementing special work projects as assigned for Season and Group Ticket Sales Department.
• Will assist the Sr. Director of Ticket Sales and Sales Managers on various daily tasks, will organize and maintain sales documents and materials.
• Will assist with game and event night responsibilities as needed and in preparing presentations.
• Will perform general office duties including data entry, answering phones, copying, filing, faxing, maintaining mailing lists, collating, distributing departmental information and assisting with all direct mail efforts.
• Prior to end of internship, will develop a project that could be incorporated into the departments
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Junior, senior or graduate-level students.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must enjoy working with people in a customer service environment.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while balancing multiple tasks at once.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

Overview: Duties include handling cash, customer service and administrative functions. Responsible for directing all vehicles in/out of the garage in a safe and orderly manner.
Essential requirements: High school diploma or general educational degree (GED); or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; strong customer service skills preferred.
 

Overview: To sell tickets to patrons for all events at the American Airlines Arena and to provide “Five Star” service to customers.
Essential requirements: High school diploma or general educational degree (GED); Six months to one year of cashier experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, proven organizational skills, computer literate, and strong customer service skills preferred. Ticket master experience a PLUS.
