Position Summary/Objective: This position will work closely with the Director of Membership Sales to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans to achieve revenue targets. Primary responsibilities of the Inside Sales Manager are to recruit, hire, motivate and teach Inside Sales Associates. Additionally, this individual will support group sales efforts, partial membership plans, and Minnesota Lynx ticket sales.

Position Summary/Objective: This individual will support the Marketing department in day-to-day functions, event planning, and game night planning and execution. Responsibilities include administrative tasks, planning and scheduling of game night events staff, and representing MN Timberwolves as an event lead at external events, including all home games.

Work Environment

This job operates during office hours, Timberwolves external events, and during Timberwolves home games. Work is both sedentary and active in nature. The position operates out of an administrative office and a sports arena. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by dust, etc. The noise level is loud during events. During events work is generally performed on the main court, around the concourse and bleachers/steps, as well as in an office environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx are hiring Timberwolves Assistants and Associates for the 2015-2016 season. We want to provide interested individuals with resources and knowledge of working in the professional sports industry, as well as access to executives within our organizations AND an opportunity to meet with our hiring managers for the Timberwolves season!

The workshop will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, from 1:30-6:30PM. Our agenda will feature: Mock interviews, resume reviews, tours of the Courts at Mayo Clinic Square, a panel session, a guest speaker from the NBA league offices, and an hour of networking before the Lynx game.

This workshop will also include a ticket to the last regular season home game (not to mention Fan Appreciation Night) for the Minnesota Lynx vs. Seattle Storm that evening (7PM). Please note that additional tickets will also be available for purchase.

  7. Primary department lead for all giveaways, t-shirts, and promotional items.
