Group Service Associate - Seasonal Position - New Orleans Pelicans (New Orleans, LA)

Day to Day Service Responsibilities
• Assist Group Account Executives with touch point process
• Answer incoming service requests
• Attend select client meetings to convey service related items
• Assist with prospecting for Group Account Executive sales efforts
• Provide input on service components and execute of new program development
• Create service recaps of each event
• Assist customers via inbound and outbound phone calls
• Assist with day-to-day activities in the Ticket Sales department which may include but is not limited to assembly of mass-mailings and data entry
• Assist with development and organizing group programs

Game Day Responsibilities
• Execute set-up and take down of sales table and distribution of promotional items
• Execution of group Fan Experience Packages and additional assets
• Assist with set up of all Ticket Sales events
• Other duties as determined by the Group Sales and Service Leadership

Qualifications:
• College seniors, graduate-level or recently graduated students
• Must be able to operate in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment and maintain confidentiality
• Must possess excellent organizational, written, verbal and listening skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with Microsoft CRM and Ticketmaster Archtics software a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent copy writing skills a must
• Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, professionalism, self-motivated, organized, professional, mature and detail oriented
• Flexibility to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, as required, in non-traditional settings
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds comfortably

Motions Graphics Intern - New Orleans Pelicans (New Orleans, LA)

The Motion Graphics Intern reports to the Motion Graphics/Animator and assists in various areas of Video Production within the New Orleans Pelicans organization. This is a seasonal paid internship.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist in design of graphics and animation packages across all video platforms, including LED ribbon boards, Exterior Marquee Boards, etc..
• Creative and hands-on operating efficiency with Mac based graphics and animation software including Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop (Cinema 4D experience a Plus)
• Ability to create animations for unique size dimensions
• Work as a crew member of the Pelicans In-Arena Video Production
• Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements:
This Internship is open to all graduate and undergraduate level college students looking to take advantage of a great opportunity. Television / Video Production, Marketing, Communications or related majors are preferred. The Production / Game Presentation Intern must be creative, possessing strong technical, written and verbal skills and available to work long, irregular hours. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are a must. Knowledge of and enthusiasm for basketball are a plus, but not a necessity.
Technical knowledge of the following are a major plus: Microsoft Word & Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Studio, General Production Equipment (Betacam, DVcam, Audio Equipment, Production Lights, etc.)

Partnerships Activation Specialist - New Orleans Pelicans (New Orleans, LA)

Overall Purpose:
This position is responsible for the activation of corporate partnership obligations through the fulfillment and management of Pelicans’ corporate partners. In conjunction with the Director, oversees and participates in the renewal of corporate accounts through the strategic creation of multi-faceted partnerships.


Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• Work as a team with other members of the Partnership Activation Staff to fulfill corporate partnerships, working to meet obligations and develop relationships
• Strategically and creatively establish activation platforms for potential and existing corporate partners that drive the business of both the team and client.
• Create added value and up-sale opportunities for existing client base.
• Participate in the negotiation of select partnership renewal accounts.
• Ensure 100% delivery of contractual obligations.                                                                                   
• Work closely with numerous departments to facilitate planning process, ensure timely communication of partnership initiatives and enhance partner marketing opportunities.
• Participate in creation and design of all corporate partner sales & activation collateral pieces, and point of sale materials for retail programs.
• Responsible for assigned game day duties relating to partnership activation and hospitality
• Secure all necessary team and league approvals of related partner promotional materials

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in sport management, business, communications, marketing or related field.
• Minimum of four years of experience in a related Marketing position.
• Proven experience with corporate partnership sales and service.
• Strong leadership skills required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• Strong creativity skills required.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Exceptional knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments/organizations
• Ability to work irregular hours

Working Conditions:
• Typical office environment
• Some weekends, nights, and holidays
• Must be able to sit and work at a computer 80% of the day
• Occasionally move general office equipment or supplies up to 15 pounds
