CAPSULE POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for further developing, maintaining, generating, and increasing advertising partnerships for the San Antonio Spurs, Rampage, San Antonio Stars, Toros, and AT&T Center Family Shows and/or Events with a strong focus on relationship sales and customer retention. This person must provide extensive customer service and continual development of relationships with customers, co-workers, and corporate partners. The Account Executive is responsible for the sale, administration, and implementation of all accounts while serving as point of contact for partners.

KRA'S (KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS):
1. Generate, develop, and maintain new and ongoing business and sales relationships.
2. Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and services best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, and data capture and personal data base management.
3. Oversee and manage all partner contracts to ensure that all partner elements are fulfilled and activated (executed).
4. Compile, report, enter, collect, and track accurate information, billing, payments, and reports pertaining to proposals, budgets, and other account details into MARKETLINE / MATRYX.
5. Other Duties as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of one-year experience in advertising or partnership sales.
• Ability to develop and generate new business.
• Knowledge of media sales; media industry (including on-line and new media) preferred.

POSITION:  Inside Sales Representative (Part Time)

CAPSULE POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Austin Toros are seeking positive and passionate individuals that are committed to becoming sales leaders in the sports and entertainment industry. This position is a seasonal, career growth-oriented sales development program which will focus on developing the skills and knowledge needed to become a sports sales professional. This program is intended to assist the full-time Ticket Sales Representatives in contacting local businesses and organizations to sell group and season tickets. Responsibilities will include generating new revenue through the selling of group and season tickets for the Austin Toros.  Revenue will be generated via phone calls, prospecting and referrals with a strong focus on relationship sales and customer retention.

Position Pay: $7.25 per/hour 
Hours: 20-29hrs/week

KRA'S (Key Responsibility Areas):
1. Oversee a group project from beginning to end including the following: brainstorm the group project, pitch to group manager, develop group project, plan and sell the group project.  All aspects of the project will be assisted by a group reprentative and manager.
2. Experience the Season Ticket Sales Process including the following: generating a leads list, research, cold call, sales process and close.  All aspects of the project will be assisted by a season ticket reprentative and manager.
3. Participate in a high level project designed to drive sales including the following: season ticket pricing, renewal rate projection, benefits and packaging and ticket programs and offers.  All aspects of the project will be assisted by a manager.
4. Attending and assisting with set up of select community events.  Responsibilities at evetns will include: Distributing information, selling the Toros to people in attendance and assisting the Toros mascot and dance team at events.

CAPSULE POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Operations interns have the opportunity to see the business side of sports marketing first hand for the Austin Toros. The Austin Toros are a part of the NBA Development League, the NBA’s minor league system. The Austin Toros are directly affiliated, owned, and operated by the San Antonio Spurs. Interns have the opportunity to work directly with the Austin Toros, dealing with various aspects of the day to day operation of the Team, such as marketing, community events, game nights and general office duties. Operations interns are involved with the creative side as well, participating in brainstorming sessions and meetings where promotional ideas are discussed. Internships are paid positions (minimum wage), but are not guaranteed employment once the internship is completed.

Conversions are performed mainly overnight, labor intensive, and take place on week nights and/or weekends.

JOB TITLE: Event Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Director - Event Services

CAPSULE POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Event Coordinator will be responsible for primary coordination of event advancement for AT&T Center franchise and non-franchise activity. This position is salaried and schedule will vary depending upon event schedules. Results should reflect in: A) quality relations with guests, facility tenants, vendors and event promoters; and B) effective business practices conductive to the general mission, goals, objectives and values of the AT&T Center and Spurs Sports & Entertainment.
This position must support the organization’s mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: A) Demonstrate alignment with the company’s mission and core business values; B) Collaboration with key internal/external resources; C) Ongoing self development.

KRA’s (Key Responsibility Areas):
1) Planning, management, and coordinating back and front-of-house needs for arena events. This includes aspects of event security, event resources and staffing logistics, promoter relations/contract administrations and guest services. Provide prospectus for upcoming events, informing all departments of special needs for events and work with the in-house staff to meet promoter’s request.
2) Serve as a primary liaison for event coordination (“game ops”) with AT&T Center tenant contacts (as assigned, could include any of the following: San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo Spurs, Rampage, and Silver Stars). Inform and follow up with all internal contacts on requested needs and last minute changes. Inspect and evaluate building readiness in preparation for events.
3) Serve as a secondary liaison for event coordination to the facility’s premium caterer (Levy Restaurants), concessionaire/novelties partner (Aramark), and other contracted vendors (example: guest services) as applicable.
4) Assist in daily maintenance of operations systems necessary to conduct event management. Establish and maintain up-to-date records, event prospectus, pre- and post-event inspections and reports, inventory all assets for settlement as required, to ensure proper and timely coordination events.
5) Stay informed of new or evolving requirements associated with equipment, technology or protocol and policies used by the AT&T Center for event services management. Maintain an adequate level of proficiency in each of said areas.
6) Collaborate and participate by actively attending Security Meetings, Marketing Meetings and other intra-department gatherings. Perform related duties as assigned. Provide limited assistance with advance site inspections, tours and related stakeholder needs.
7) Organize and maintain all equipment assigned to the Events Department. Keep logs or other records to track assignments, damage/replacement and other needed assistance.

This position will maintain established security policies and procedures that will protect Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) franchises, the AT&T Center, along with its assets, employees and guests. The person in this position must be able to control access into the AT&T Center, properties and its secured areas; patrol the facilities paying special attention to activities or situations that may breach security or pose a safety hazard. Successful employees in this position must possess the ability to follow directions and quickly respond to alarms and emergency situations where an immediate decision to maintain a safe and secure environment is required. Security Guards would be required to potentially take immediate action and decide how to effectively maintain a safe and secure environment.  Security Officers must have a basic understanding of security access control systems, protocols, and other security related equipment. Scheduled hours may be limited due to the varying event schedule at the AT&T Center.

Continuously look for ways to develop and grow new and existing customer relationships through seat visits, prospecting, referrals and other ticket sales initiatives (sales booths, in-house events and off-site community events) Maintain electronic records of all customers and prospects with our CRM system.
4. Greet, Support, and Serve current and potential clients daily and at games. Work games, nights, weekends and holidays as assigned.
5. Collaboration with key internal/external resources.
6. Commit to on-going sales training and development of best sales practices through weekly meetings and role-play sessions. Attend all other sales department meetings and customer service events as assigned.

Successful employees in this position must possess the ability to quickly respond to alarms and emergency situations where an immediate decision to maintain a safe and security environment is required. Security Guards would be required to potentially take immediate action and decide how to effectively maintain a safe and secure environment.  Security Officers must have a basic understanding of security access control systems, protocols, CCTV and other security related equipment. Security Officers will have an understanding of basic security protocols and safety programs.

Basketball Camp coaches are a seasonal contracted position that facilitates basketball camps from Monday-Friday on selected camp weeks. Coaching positions are seasonal positions and usually occur during summer, spring break or winter break time periods. Coaches can vary from middle school, high school, or college coaches or any individual who has student coaching or coaching internship experience.  Coaches must have plenty of experience working with children and must exude a professional image at all times.  Our coaches are the face of the basketball camps for our campers and must take full pride in representing Spurs Sports & Entertainment in a professional manner.

3. Supervise and motivate children between the ages of 7-18, for a period of 5-6 days. This position requires accountability for the coach in that they are to stress, model and promote a positive attitude and listening skills toward all levels of camp participants. This requires the person in this position to also look sharp, be upbeat and enthusiastic. 
4. The coach in this position is responsible for maintaining supervision and verifying that all campers are present and accounted at all times. They are required to communicate their requirements for special care or supervision.
5. This position requires preparation and organization of instructional and evaluation materials. In addition to this, the coach in this position is responsible for completing timely and accurate evaluations of all player participants. 
6. This position requires an officiating assignment to be conducted with pride and without bias.
