REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
REPORTS TO: Manager of Premium Sales and Manager of Corporate Partnership Sales

CAPSULE POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for further developing, maintaining, generating, and increasing Premium and Sponsorship Sales for the Austin Toros with a strong focus on relationship sales and client retention. This person must provide extensive customer service and continual development of relationships with customers, co-workers, and corporate partners. Base pay will be based on experience with target sales expectations and commission.

KRA'S (KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS):
1. Generate, develop, and maintain new and ongoing business and sales relationships.
2. Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and services best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, and data capture and personal data base management.
3. Develop and attain personal strategies, procedures and goals to increase sales for the Austin Toros.
4. Greet, support and serve current and potential clients daily at on-site and off-site events.
5. Commit to on-going sales training and development of best sales practices.
6. Participate, contribute to and attend Sales Department meetings with relevant data, research and accurate information.
7. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Essential Functions:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience in related field
• Must be a self-starter and possess team building skills
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• One year of sales, customer service and retention experience
• Strong teamwork aptitude required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and other computer skills required

Administration/General Management: Administrative/Executive Assistant
Austin Toros Special Projects Associate - Spurs Sports & Entertainment (Austin, TX)

DEPARTMENT: AUSTIN TOROS BUSINESS OPERATIONS 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager and Media & CR Manager
DIRECT REPORTS: No

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for coordinating special projects with the Austin Toros. The eligible candidate will communicate with a diverse group of vendors, sponsors, and customers as well as internal contacts at all levels; independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.
This position will also be responsible for providing support to the Operations Manager and the Media and Community Responsibility Manager. The eligible candidate should meet a multitude of qualifications, including but not limited to: ability to handle multiple tasks, maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude and have strong organizational skills.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY, JOB METRICS AND COMPETENCIES: 
1. Create, track, and maintain a sponsorship tracking system for all team contracts (including trade) following processes and guidelines outlined by the Operations Manager and Corporate Partnerships Manager. Task requires paying close attention to details.
2. Schedue and coordinate appearances for the dance team and mascot. Position would also research appropriate community activities to participate in during the season to increase brand awareness.
3. Coordinate team social media efforts working closely with the Media and Community Responsibility Manager, PR interns and SS&E staff.
4. Responsible for creating game day scripts and format. Task requires attention to detail. Position will work closely with the Operations Manager during games to assist with game operations functions.
5. Coordinate team website updates. Knowledge of website maintenance is required, and the ability to pay close attention to detail.
6. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and other computer skills required.

• Demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Strong teamwork aptitude required.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 20 lbs on a regular basis
