Digital Product Coordinator - Chicago Bulls (Chicago, IL)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Chicago Bulls have a growing Digital team that is focused on driving business impact by ensuring that the Bulls stay relevant in a rapidly evolving fan landscape, and by establishing the team as a trailblazer in the digital space. Our team is driven to continue to make the Bulls one of the most innovative brands in the sports space.

As our team expands, we are looking for a hungry self-starter who is eager to help assist with the digital properties of a premier sports organization by serving as a Digital Product Coordinator. This is a great opportunity for a digitally savvy individual who has strong creative, business and technical skillsets.

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for assisting in the execution of our digital strategy across all facets of Digital, with a focus on our owned digital products, specifically our website, mobile app and email marketing efforts.

You are a potential fit for this role if you possess a strong technical skillset (we are looking for individuals with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript & jQuery) and an ability to think analytically about how best to grow product usage within our fan base. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:                                                                                                                                 With the support of the Senior Digital Product Manager, you will partner with internal teams including Marketing, Community Relations, Public & Media Relations and Partnership Marketing to utilize digital products to help achieve organization wide business objectives. Additional key responsibilities include:

  • You will be responsible for executing the game-day preparations of our owned digital products (game-day page on .com, game-day email newsletter, app integrations as appropriate) and assisting with broader digital game day responsibilities around social, web, email, and in-arena marketing.
  • You will design, build & release updates to our digital products in-line with our longer term roadmaps, related to both basketball and business requirements across web, email and mobile.
  • Website: You will work with internal creative teams to build, develop, and maintain Bulls.com, microsites & splash pages.
  • Email: You will develop emails using standard HTML/CSS practices and ensuring email functionality works within a variety of browsers and devices.
  • Mobile: You will influence scalable front-end architecture to help deliver a positive user experience to our fans.
  • You will help Senior Product Manager drive progress against longer-term product strategy.
  • You will drive digital growth strategy by participating in internal meetings and business partner opportunities that meet and exceed team and partner needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject matter
  • Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript & jQuery
  • Knowledge of User Experience, Analytics & Quality Assurance desired
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Multi-tasking is second nature and you can deliver simultaneous projects on time
  • Have a can-do attitude and be able to clearly express your ideas and suggestions to the Digital leads, and other departments within the organization.
  • You write, speak, and present well, and have a knack for sharing complicated ideas in a way multiple partners can understand.
  • You are a passionate, enthusiastic and empathetic individual, with the ability to operate using both their left & right brains.

Note that this role requires flexible work hours and may include work outside of normal office hours during the business week and on weekends.
