Purpose

The Milwaukee Bucks seek an outgoing, enthusiastic and creative Sponsorship Account Executive with strong relationship skills who will be responsible for maintaining and developing key corporate partnerships. This experienced and entrepreneurial sales professional will integrate signage, promotions, internet, radio, hospitality, tickets and all other marketing resources at their disposal in the development of these relationships. Position reports to Director of Corporate Sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Solicitation of new business through prospecting, networking and cold calling.

· Qualified Lead Generation.

· Managing and Growing existing accounts.

· Identifying clients’ advertising, sponsorship and marketing needs and developing and selling customized solutions to meet those needs.

· Creation and Development of professional and comprehensive proposals and presentations.

· Research related to partner development and relevant industry categories.

· Providing timely and accurate progress reports to Director of Corporate Sales.

· Achieving Sales Budgets.

Skills Required

· College degree required

· Excellent communication skills – Interpersonal, verbal, written and sales

· Public speaking and Presentation skills

· 3 - 5 years prior sales experience, relevant to sponsorship sales. Proven experience in professional sports a plus.

· A self-starter who can aggressively pursue and close business
